Job Description:

Summary: Under general supervision, is responsible to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and perform the following duties.

·Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines 

·Ability to learn and support new and quickly-changing technologies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned

·Prepares monthly billings

·Submits reports for Managed Care contracts, as required.

·Interface with Managed Care Organizations as needed to facilitate monthly billings.

·Supports the strategic planning and budgeting process and may assist in developing initiatives to achieve the overall mission and vision of the organization.

·Participates in organizational or departmental committees, as appropriate.

·Adheres to all St. Coletta organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:

Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 2 years of accounting/billing experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in front of groups.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting and Microsoft Office Suite products especially strong in excel skills, Internet, and e-mail.

Knowledge of how to operate a copy, fax, and scanning machine.
